There were 29 of them left. They held their positions until the last. The commander radioed that the group was leaving Bakhmut and realized that "trouble was brewing": the shells were falling closer and closer.

They loaded things, communication property, and sank themselves in the last three cars. There were 28 border guards in the cars, one on top of the other. He was the 29th. There were no vacant places, excepting the only one on the roof. He gave the order to go, but he himself remained in Bakhmut. I hit all the magazines I could find, took the machine gun, put the tablet on my hand and headed for the exit from the hell city. It was a dark night in the street. There were funnels from the shells around. It was impossible to switch on the light, because the enemy will detect it. He stumbled, fell, got up and went on. Halfway he almost became a target for his own. Paratroopers on Kirpi (armored personnel carrier) were riding behind. In complete darkness, they could easily be mistaken for an enemy and open fire on the damage. Fortunately, they noticed a green armband with a yellow coat of arms of Ukraine on his arm. They stopped, picked them up, took them to Chasovyi Yar and left them at the checkpoint. There he got in touch with his comrades, waited for them and went on to lead the unit.

Mom says: "He's a fart." He personally drove subordinates to positions, got behind the wheel when drivers were afraid to drive without armored vehicles. On one of the routes, he came under fire, he was knocked back several meters with an incoming RPG, he was unconscious for a couple of hours, when he regained consciousness, he had to walk back to his comrades. The car in which he was transporting people burned down after being hit by a shell. During his stay in Bakhmut, his unit was virtually without wheels. 21 cars were destroyed during the evacuation of the wounded and delivery of border guards to positions.

On foot, in pairs with his deputy, he walked close to the enemy's positions in order to find comrades with whom he had lost contact. On the way, he entered into battle twice, was wounded, but he still found people, pulled them out of the surrounding, and evacuated them.

He says he did not shy away from any methods to save subordinate staff. After all, people are the main priority for him. He has had this position since 2014, when he volunteered to fight for the independence of the Motherland. On August 25, on the day of the death of the hero of Ukraine border guard Yevheniy Pikus, 20-year-old Ivan Tysovskyi participated in his first shooting battle. Then Krasna Talivka border crossing point was broken. A young military man saw enemy helicopters flying into the territory of Ukraine and heavy equipment entering. On that day, he learned how to destroy the enemy and how painful it is to lose comrades.

The border guard is convinced: "You need to stand up for your people with weapons in your hands." "Kisa" is fighting for the will of the Ukrainian people in the ranks of Donetsk border guard detachment. The military man calls to join the combat unit of the State Border Guard Service and destroy the enemy together on the way to our common Victory.
